The Big Biscuit is continuing to grow its presence in the Midwest with plans to open a new corporate-owned restaurant in the Manhattan community. Known for our impossibly generous portions of classic breakfast and lunch comfort food and genuine hometown hospitality, we’re excited to bring our signature breakfast and lunch experience to the area.
A Local Brand Growing Across the Midwest
While The Big Biscuit has grown into a regional breakfast and lunch favorite, our story started with a simple visit to the original restaurant in Independence, Missouri. After experiencing the welcoming atmosphere and classic breakfast menu firsthand, Chad Offerdahl, president and CEO, and his father, David Offerdahl, former CEO and current partner, purchased the company in 2010.
The Offerdahls set out to grow the brand while staying true to what made it special: impossibly generous portions, hometown hospitality, and a place where families and communities could gather.
Today, The Big Biscuit operates 30 restaurants across Kansas, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Arkansas, and continues to expand its footprint throughout the region. Manhattan stood out as a natural next step for the brand’s growth.
